In a very unique move by community leaders in 1993, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, Tourism and Keep Greene Clean were combined to form the Greene County Partnership, an organization that, during the course of its 25-year history, has become one of the most results-oriented economic and community development organizations in the country.
While each of the individual entities within the Partnership focuses on its particular interests, the talents of each of the department staff members are shared throughout the organization.
The Chamber is committed to stimulating community growth with a major focus on promoting its members and the community at large, while seeking to improve the quality of life for all Greeneville and Greene County residents.
Its programs and events are designed around new business creation and management, networking opportunities, member and community promotion, informational resources and education initiatives.
To explore Chamber activities and the community more in depth, check out the programs and events that are in place, meet the local business community by browsing through the membership directory, or, become part of this dynamic community by joining the Partnership/Chamber of Commerce.
