Established in 1993, the GCP unites the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, Tourism, Keep Greene Beautiful, and Education & Workforce Development under one umbrella. Its mission is to enhance quality of life and economic vitality by fostering collaboration and driving community growth.

Over the past 30 years, the Partnership has helped attract 20 manufacturing and distribution firms, including US Nitrogen’s $150 million investment. Its success has earned Greene County national recognition, including top rankings from Southern Business & Development and Site Selection magazines, and the Partnership itself has become a model for communities nationwide.

Looking ahead, Greene County is preparing for significant growth fueled by an influx of new residents and major projects like the Greene Valley development. The Partnership is focused on guiding this expansion by supporting infrastructure improvements, advancing workforce development, and ensuring balanced progress that preserves the community’s unique character while welcoming new opportunities.
