These centers take recycle plastic, cardboard, newspaper, aluminum cans, used oil, 4 used tires per year, batteries, metal, demolition and used computers and monitors, along with your household trash.  NO televisions are being accepted.

THE SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT AT 795 HAL HENARD ROAD ACCEPTS PAINT FROM 7 A.M. TO 1 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FOR COUNTY RESIDENTS (Starting on August 15, the location will be changed to the Greeneville/Greene County Landfill & Transfer Station and will be accepting oil based paint ONLY). Latex paint can be donated if full or dried out and thrown in trash.
AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AT 708 W. SUMMER ST. COLLECTS PAINT ALSO FROM 7 A.M. TO 3 P.M. MONDAY - FRIDAY FOR CITY RESIDENTS.

The Public Works Department (708 W. Summer St.) and the Greeneville/Greene County Landfill and Transfer Station (1555 Old Stage Road) accepts oil, antifreeze, car and truck batteries throughout the year.


           
                
Other Recycling Centers:
PSC Metals- 111 Rockwell Dr. (off of Industrial Rd.)  This center accepts all kids of autos, appliances, copper, brass, aluminum and all kinds of ferrous metals.  Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
