Round Two of the Greene County Partnership Foundation’s Small Business Grant Announced

January 8–June 30, 2021

The Greene County Partnership Foundation announces applications are now being accepted for round two of the Small Business Grant Program.  The GCP Foundation announced in May of 2020 the creation of a new grant program set to help local, small businesses recover from the economic impact of COVID-19.  “We see the need to continue this support,” Taylor said. “Small businesses are a BIG part of our community.  It is our duty to connect local dollars with local needs.”  Businesses eligible to apply for the grant include businesses physically located in Greene County that employ no more than 50 people.  Foundation grant monies will complement other federal, state, and regional grants that are available and provide another option to help small, local businesses.  Businesses excluded from eligibility include banking and financial services; real estate; seasonal businesses; liquor, tobacco or vaping retail stores, and franchises, aside from locally owned and operated franchises.  Financial contributions for the fund are also being accepted.  For more information, to apply or to contribute to the fund, contact the Partnership at 638-4111 or gcp@greenecop.com.
