The Greene County Partnership/Chamber of Commerce Green Coat Ambassadors are a select group of Partnership/Chamber members or Partnership/Chamber member employees who assist the Partnership staff in hosting monthly breakfasts and Business After-Hours gatherings.
Ambassadors are appointed and approved by the Partnership Board of Directors with a mission to serve as goodwill representatives for the organization by welcoming new members at various functions such as ribbon cuttings, grand openings, etc. In addition the Ambassador Committee encourages new members and existing members to participate in Chamber functions, and seeks to promote new membership as well as improve services to existing members.

Ambassadors are expected to participate in membership campaigns and other Chamber and/or city events as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors. They are also expected to sponsor one new member per year, either personally or by direct referral to the Partnership/Chamber.
Quarterly meetings are held, during which one Ambassador is recognized with an award for the Ambassador of the Quarter. An annual award is also presented to the Ambassador of the Year.
