Greeneville Water Commission - Lick Creek Utilities - Old Knoxville Utilities
The Greeneville Water Commission draws its water from the Nolichuckey River and provides service to nearly all of Greene County. The water treatment plant has a 16 MGD capacity with a raw water storage capacity of 32 MG and finished water storage of 7 MG. Average daily flow is 9 MGD. The waste water treatment plant has a capacity of 7 MGD with an average flow of 3.5 MGD. Lick Creek and Old Knoxville utilities service the areas not covered by the Greeneville Water Commission.
