Keep Greene Beautiful, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate, educates businesses, industries, schools and residents on the importance of preserving our natural beauty. Greene County depends on this important affiliate to attract new businesses, residents, and tourists. The Economic Development Department of the Greene County Partnership relies heavily on Greene County's natural beauty and heritage as a benefit to market the county.

Greene County offers a quality of life unmatched by most other communities in Tennessee. Greene County's natural beauty is a major contributor to our quality of life and it is up to each individual to protect this precious resource. Litter on our roads and along rights-of-way is not only an eyesore, but can be a contributing factor to the loss of a potential new business or industry considering relocation to Greene County.

WHAT IS KEEP GREENE BEAUTIFUL'S ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY?

Keep Greene Beautiful was formed 18 years ago to improve the appearance of Greeneville and Greene County through educating children and adults on the importance of litter control, solid waste practices and a more beautiful and cleaner environment.

Keep Greene Beautiful is dedicated to maintaining a continuing litter control program, to promoting the public interest in the maintenance of a clean and beautiful environment, and to instilling environmental and solid waste management ethics.
