The 6th Annual Aussie Fall Fest Chillin' N Grillin' offers crafts, food, entertainment, a Karaoke competition and features a Chili Cook Off competition and a Bar-B-Q and Wings Cook Off on Saturday, October 17 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. New to this year's event is the Kids' Q which will give the youngsters ages 15 and under the oppornity to compete as well as the Backyard Cookers that will feature "first-time grillers and participants."
On stage live will be the band Bulls Gap. Bulls Gap has been actively playing together as a band since they were 17. In reality, though, their singing began while they were in grade school, where they performed each year in talent shows. The fact that they have been together for the greater part of their lives explains the precision of their harmonies. There can be little doubt as to the commitment the duo have to their career. Bulls Gap has captured the truly authentic country audience with the sincere delivery of their songs.

They will perform on Saturday evening on the main stage. Further information on tims and other performers is forthcoming.

In 2008, more than $3,000 were given away in prizes along with awesome Aussie grills from our local MECO Store, our title sponsor.

The Kid's Zone, presented by Funville, features inflatables for the children to enjoy and is located in the lot of the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site.

Cook Off participants are urged to "go all out" and decorate their tents for the People's Choice and Showmanship Awards. Throughout the day, spectators can buy armbands to enter the Cook Off area and judge/sample the Chili and BBQ. Participants can win $100 and a plaque for People's Choice and $50 and a plaque for Showmanship!
