5th Annual Antique Appraisal Fair & ShowFebruary 20, 2010
Winner of the Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association Pinnacle Award for peak performance in Tourism as well as a Top 20 Event for February by the Southeast Tourism Society, the 5th Annual Antique Appraisal Fair & Show features more than ten appraisers assessing the value of your treasured antiques at a cost of $5 per item. The event also features more than 40 vendors selling their antique treasures as well as local museums and historical attractions. New to 2010 will be an on-site crystal and glass restoration specialist that will offer repairs.The innaugural event in 2006 set the standard for quality appraisers, vendors and antiques being appraised and has kept is reputation to this day.Long lines began forming outside of Greeneville High School well before 9 a.m. in 2009. The Annual Appraisal Fair has been advertised in well-known publications such as Cotton & Quail, Antique Trader, Southeastern Antiquing and Tennessee Festival Events.Appraiser Carol Wamble appraises a treasure at the 2008 Appraisal Fair that drew more than 3,500.
